Australia is back in cricket for the first time at home after the deadly Corona. Aaron Finch and Steve Smith scored centuries in the first ODI of the three-match series against India. Australia scored 374 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs.
The hosts won the first one-day toss of the series against India on Friday (November 26) to bat first. David Warner opened the innings with captain Finch. They added 156 runs in the opening over.
When Warner returned to the dressing room for 69 off Mohammad Shamir’s ball, Smith came on the field with the bat. The duo then took the Indian bowlers by storm. Finch returned to the dressing room with a boomerang off 114 off 124 balls, but Smith played aggressively.

Smith, who hit a century off just 62 balls, added 105 runs before being bowled out in the last over. He hit 11 fours and 4 sixes in 8 balls. Earlier, Glenn Maxwell gave devastating innings of 45 off just 19 balls. As a result, the hosts stopped for 375 runs in 50 overs.
Mohammad Shami has taken three wickets for India. Besides, Bumrah, Navdeep Saini, and Jubendra Chahal took one wicket each.
