AB de Villiers is sweating in practice
AB de Villiers is sweating in practice after a six-day compulsory home quarantine ahead of the 13th IPL in Dubai. The Royal Challengers Bangalore Proteas wicket-keeper batsman has expressed relief after a long practice in the nets.
Earlier, Virat Kohli had practiced batting. This time RCB’s Gurkirat Singh Mann, Umesh Yadav, Chris Morris, and Parthiv Patel have practiced batting and bowling in the net with AB de Villiers. RCB posted the video of the practice on their Twitter account for the followers.
After the net session under the lights at the ICC Academy, de Villiers said, “It felt really good, I enjoyed being there. The lights here at night were a bit dim and the wicket was a bit damp. After a long day of practice, everything was fine. ” De Villiers batted with the net bowlers. However, he also played the ball of teammates Chris Morris and Umesh Yadav for some time.
The opening match of the cricket mega-event IPL is scheduled for September 19. All IPL matches are scheduled to take place in the UAE cities of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. The IPL Governing Council is delaying the release of the final schedule of the IPL due to travel complications and the deplorable condition of Chennai.
