Afghanistan Premier League APL is Returning Again

In 2016, the Afghanistan Premier League (APL) was held for the first time. But then this tournament did not see the light of day. The second edition of the tournament was closed due to the financial crisis. Due to which 2019 APL was not held. However, the APL is returning again.

It came up in the discussion last year that the second edition of the APL is not being held due to the financial crisis. However, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) is going to organize the APL after overcoming its crisis. ACB chairman Farhan Yousafzai has decided to hold the second event on the field.

The country’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Shahzad has confirmed the announcement of the ACB chairman. He thanked the ACB chairman for the announcement through his Twitter account.

Shahzad said on Twitter that Chairman Farhan Yousafzai had done a great job in deciding to hold the second edition of the APL. This tournament will play a big positive role among the young cricketers of Afghanistan.
