Pakistani President Arif Alvi announced “Sitara-e-Imtiaz” for the legendary skater, the late Abdul Qadir. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Saturday and tweeted. “Proud moment for the Pakistan cricket fraternity! The President of Pakistan announced Sitara-e-Imtiaz for the late Abdul Qadir. “
“The big spinner who passed away on September 6, 2019, won 236 wickets in 67 tests for Pakistan,” he added.
The PCB also congratulated squash champion Farhan Mahboob, Kabbadi player Mohammad Irfan and Paralympic athlete Haider Ali on their nomination for the Pride of Performance award.
