Bangladesh vs West Indies 2021 Series will be Played without Spectators | BAN vs WI 2021
Due to Coronavirus, the series between BAN vs WI 2021 will be played without spectators. This means the fans in Bangladesh can only watch the Bangladesh vs West Indies 2021 Live Telecast on GTV and T-Sports.
Previously the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is keeping the gallery empty in this series like BCB President’s Cup and Bangabandhu T20 Cup so that the corona infection does not spread.
The cricket administration has taken this decision keeping in mind the health protection of the players, team management, and all those involved in the match. As a result, cricket fans will have to watch the Bangladesh-West Indies series on TV starting from January 20.
Meanwhile, former cricketers, captains, guests, and sponsors will be exempted even if the general public cannot enter. The country’s cricket board will provide limited seating for them in the series.
Mohammad Jalal Yunus, chairman of the BCB’s media committee, confirmed the title at the announcement of the title sponsor of the Bangladesh-West Indies series. “We will invite some former cricketers, captains, guests, and sponsors in turn, but it is very limited,” he said. We are not allowing general viewers in this series either.
The first match of the three-match ODI series will be played on January 20 and the second match will be played on January 22. After the first two ODIs of the series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, the third and final ODI of the series will be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on January 25.
