Bangladesh is returning to international cricket after a break of 10 months. Bangladesh will play a home series against West Indies in January. The Caribbean’s Bangladesh tour has been finalized.

The West Indies have agreed to tour Bangladesh to play three ODIs and two Tests. The Tigers are not playing in the T20 series at the request of the West Indies to shorten the tour and have been reduced to one Test despite having three Tests to play.

The Caribbean’s were supposed to come to Bangladesh to play the full series. The visitors were scheduled to play two Tests, three ODIs. However, considering the Corona situation, a test has been reduced. There is no T20 match at the request of the West Indies.

One Test and the entire T20 series have been dropped from the previously announced series due to the Corona epidemic. The decision was made to shorten the time limit for staying in the West Indies bio-protection environment.

According to the previous schedule, the West Indies were scheduled to play three Tests, one ODI, and two T20s in Bangladesh. However, the two boards have decided that the two teams will now play two Tests and three ODIs.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the matter in a media release on Tuesday (December 15th). The West Indies team will set foot in Dhaka on January 10. The visitors will play a one-day warm-up match on January 17. The first ODI between the two teams will be played on January 20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

The next ODI will be played on January 22 at the same venue. The last match of the WI vs BAN 2021 ODI series will be played on January 25 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.

The venue for the first two ODIs is Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The last ODI will be at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. The first Test will start at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong after the ODI series.

The two teams will start the two-match Test series from February 3. The first Test of the series will be played on February 3 at the same venue. The second and final Test of the series will be held on February 11-15 after returning to Dhaka.
