Chris Lynn banned from the BBL 2020
Brisbane heat star Chris Lynn has been banned from the Big Bash League BBL 2020 for violating the Covid-19 protocols. Chris Lynn dropped from the entire BBL 2020 tournament for violating biological protection.
Not only Chris Lynn but the team’s English all-rounder Dan Lawrence has been expelled from the BBL 2020 tournament. Chris Lynn and Dan Lawrence were criticized for breaking the biological safety net the night before Saturday’s match against the Sydney Thunders.
The two later apologized for their mistakes. However, that apology did not seem enough to Cricket Australia (CA). These two cricketers, including the franchise, had to pay a hefty fine for this. Simultaneously banned from the tournament.
The Brisbane Heat has been fined A 50,000 for breaking a biosphere belt. They also fined Chris Lynn $10,000 and Dan Lawrence $4,000. Both have been banned for the rest of the tournament. Both pleaded guilty and accepted the punishment. They have already left the team. Brisbane had to suffer a lot in this.
