Coronavirus has started to spread thoroughly in cricket. This time, six people have tested positive in the Corona test conducted by CSA. As part of this, Cricket South Africa has started corona testing of affiliated staff and contracted professional cricketers.
More than 100 cricketers and staff have already been tested. Where six people have proved tested positive for corona test, this was reported to the media by CSA yesterday (June 22). Cricket South Africa’s chief executive Jack Fall told Sports24: More than 100 tests have already been completed, but it can hardly be said that 6 of them tested positive.
The medical policy does not allow the disclosure of the names of people who have been declared positive. In this context, Jack Fall added, ‘Our medical policy does not allow the declaration of the name of a person who has tested positive. As a result, it is not possible to inform those who have tested positive.
On the same day, three Pakistani cricketers in the England tour squad proved to be positive. They are young cricketers Haider Ali, Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan who have been called up to the national team for the first time. A few days before that, former star all-rounder Shahid Afridi of Corona tested positive.

Meanwhile, Mashrafe bin Mortuza, one of the most successful captains of Bangladesh and MP of Narail-2 constituency, also tested positive for the virus. Apart from Mashrafe, left-arm spinner Nazmul Islam Apu, former cricketer and ODI captain Tamim Iqbal’s elder brother Nafees Iqbal also tested positive in the Corona Test.
