ENG vs PAK First Test will not be affected by COVID-19 Spike

England & Wales Cricket Board ECB believes England’s first test against Pakistan ENG Vs PAK at Old Trafford will not be affected by additional COVID-19 Spike at Greater Manchester. The Manchester government has banned separate homes from gathering inside the area.

According to the BBC, the ECB states that it will continue to follow government advice, but established protocols will allow the test to match that of the West Indies test. New restrictions were imposed at midnight after an increase in COVID-19 cases in Greater Manchester along with other areas in the north.

It should be noted here that Pakistan is scheduled to play three games in the test series against England since August 5 in Manchester. The remaining two events will be played at The Rose Bowl. Later, the green shirts will close the horns with the local team in three T20Is in the same place.
