ECB announced England T20 World Cup 2022 Squad Announced 

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has selected its 15-man squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes, and Mark Wood have rejoined the England World Cup squad. However, Jason Roy is out.

Ben Stokes has been included in England’s 15-man T20 World Cup team in Australia. Chris Woakes and Mark Wood return as well. Stokes, Wood, and Woakes did not participate in a single T20 match this year.

Jason Roy has been excluded from England’s T20 World Cup team in Australia. Two other members of England’s World Cup team, Liam Livingstone and Chris Jordan are recovering from ankle and finger injuries, respectively.

Tymal Mills, who participated in the T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates last year, is one of England’s three traveling reserves for the World Cup. Liam Dawson and Richard Gleeson comprise the other two reserves.

The T20 World Cup will be contested in Australia this year. England’s first match is scheduled on October 22 in Perth versus Afghanistan.

Jos Buttler (captain), Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow, Harry Brook, Sam Curran, Chris Jordan, Liam Livingstone, David Malan, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Ben Stokes, Reece Topley, David Willey, Chris Woakes, and Mark Wood.

Traveling Reserves – Liam Dawson, Richard Gleeson, Tymal Mills.
