Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry came up with an idea to make smart cricket balls in Pakistan. Noticing a tweet related to ‘Smart Cricket Balls’ that was manufactured and introduced in 2019, Chaudhry shared his opinion and tweeted: “Sialkot we are going to do that should not be a problem, let’s do a joint project with the technological universities and let’s create your own smart cricket ball ”
It should be noted here that Sialkot is one of the best sports centers worldwide. The city is known for producing high-quality sports equipment. Remember, ‘Smart Cricket Ball’ has a chip inside it that collects data from inside the ball being thrown. The chip throws all data and information to a tablet or laptop connected to it. The chip can currently measure the speed and revolutions of the ball at different stages of its journey from the hand of a bowler. The ‘Smart Cricket Ball’ is currently in the testing process.
