ICC Announced the new Schedule for ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022

The new schedule for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 has been announced. The Women’s World Cup will be held in New Zealand in 2022. Earlier, this year’s World Cup was to be played on the field. The ICC has released a new schedule for the postponed World Cup.

The Women’s World Cup will be screened on March 4, 2022. The tournament will start on April 3. A total of 31 matches will be held. New Zealand will face a team that has emerged from the qualifying round in the opening match at the Tauranga Bay Oval in New Zealand.

A total of eight teams will take part in the 2022 Women’s World Cup. Already New Zealand, Australia, England, South Africa, and India, these 5 teams are scheduled for this tournament. The remaining three teams will be taken from the qualifying round. The other three teams will be selected from another tournament to be held in Sri Lanka.

The ICC has announced the schedule for the Women’s World Cup 2022. This mega tournament will be held in New Zealand. The World Cup is going to start on March 4, 2022. In the first match, New Zealand will take the field against a team that has emerged from the qualifiers.

India will play the first match on March 7. The 31-match tournament will run for 31 days in six cities in New Zealand, Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, Thorner, and Dunedin. So far India, Australia, England, South Africa, and the host team New Zealand have qualified. And after the three teams qualify, the World Cup will be held with a total of 6 teams. The qualifiers will start on June 26 in Sri Lanka.

A total of 31 matches will be played in this mega event of ICC. The final will be held on April 3 in Christchurch. The two semi-finals will be held on March 30 and 31. Reserve Day is in all the knockout matches in this World Cup. Four teams will advance to the semi-finals after each of the eight teams plays each in a round-robin league.

Eight teams have already qualified for the 2022 Women’s World Cup; New Zealand, England, Australia, South Africa, and India. The remaining three teams will be eliminated from the qualifiers to be held in Sri Lanka in 2021. The 2021 World Cup qualifiers will be played from June 26 to July 10.
