Imran Khan received a gift of a bat in Afghanistan
Pakistan’s Prime Minister and former captain Imran Khan are currently on a state visit to Afghanistan. The cricketers of Afghanistan have welcomed Imran Khan along with the state. And at this reception, Imran Khan received a gift of a bat with the signatures of the cricketers.
Imran Khan is better known as a former cricketer than the current Prime Minister of Pakistan. In 1992, Pakistan won the World Cup. He was also one of the best all-rounders in the world. And this cricketer’s identity has multiplied Khan’s respect for Afghan cricketers.
Imran landed at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in the Pakistani capital, Kabul, yesterday (Thursday) to strengthen diplomatic ties with the country, which borders Pakistan on the northwestern border. He was welcomed there by Afghan Foreign Minister Mohammad Hanif Atmar and President Ashraf Ghani’s Special Envoy Omar Daudzai.
During the visit, Imran Khan will discuss a wide range of issues, including the Afghan-Taliban peace talks and strengthening bilateral ties as a neighboring country.
