BCCI is preparing to host the 14th edition of IPL from April 11, 2021, in India. The BCCI could not host the IPL in India in 2020 due to Corona. The 13th IPL was held in the United Arab Emirates. However, this time the BCCI is busy organizing the IPL on Indian soil.

A BCCI official told the Times of India, “The IPL Governing Council will take the final decision, but the probable start date of the 2021 IPL is April 11. The series against England will end in March, after which the cricketers will get a good break and play in the 14th IPL starting from April 11.
