IPL management might decide to reduce the number of matches

The schedule of the IPL 2020 has not been announced yet. There are many reasons for this. And the coronavirus seems to be on the rise in Abu Dhabi, which is scheduled to host the IPL series. It is said that this may be one of the reasons why the IPL schedule has not been announced yet.

Due to this, the chances of the IPL series being played only at the ground in Abu Dhabi seem slim. To this end, the government is making strict security arrangements around the city of Abu Dhabi. Beyond that, it seems that the IPL management will decide to reduce the number of matches if the IPL series cannot be held at this ground.

Perhaps the fact is that any IPL management will reduce at least 20 of the 60 matches if matches are not played at this ground. There are changing grounds in this country. It seems that these grounds are not safe for hosting such a large series.

The 13th edition of the IPL will take place in the United Arab Emirates from September 19 to November 10. The country’s cricket administration is preparing three stadiums in the country for this. Dubai has been selected at three venues, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. A total of 60 matches will be played at these three venues.
