English opener Jason Roy has been ruled out of the England vs Pakistan T20 series. The opener will not play in the series against Pakistan due to a left side strain injury. Jason Roy was injured while preparing for the team at Emirates Old Trafford. She was scanned on Wednesday.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that Jason Roy will be working with the team for rehabilitation. England is hoping to get him back in the limited-overs cricket series against Australia next month. Incidentally, the three-match T20 series starts tomorrow (August 27) at the Emirates Old Trafford.
