Kamran Akmal withdrew his name from LPL 2020

The new edition of Sri Lanka Premier League LPL 2020 Live Streaming will start on November 26 and will end on December 16. More than one Pakistani cricketer was supposed to play in this tournament. However, some Pakistani players withdrew due to injuries and personal reasons. This time Kamran Akmal the wicketkeeper-batsman withdrew from the LPL 2020 citing injury.

Akmal was supposed to play for Dambulla Hawks. He has removed his name mainly due to a shoulder injury. Due to this injury, he did not play in the PSL play-off and the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

Talking to Express-News, Kamran Akmal said, “Following the doctor’s advice, I have decided not to play in the tournament. My Saturday morning flight was final. However, at night the doctor saw my MRI report and asked me to rest for a while before returning to the field.
