Malinga all time best T20 pacer

He is the highest wicket-taker in the International Twenty20 and is in second place in all T20s. Lasith Malinga has been named the best pacer of all time in the T20 format in The Greatest T20 episode of Wisden and Creekview’s new podcast. English pacer Timel Mills, cricket analyst Freddie Wild, and event host Yas Runner were selected by the panel Sri Lankan.

Malinga is enough to catch any batsman’s chest trembling on his own day with a mix of perfect yorkers with speed. The T20 format has taken itself to another height. He is the first and so far the only bowler to take 100 or more wickets (106) in the International Twenty20. On the other hand, the Sri Lankan pacer has taken 390 wickets in all recognized T20s. Only Caribbean Dwayne Bravo is ahead of him. However, Bravo has played 160 matches more than Malinga.

“I think it’s a long career,” said Mills. He has been performing great for a long time. He has consistently been successful in big events. He has had success in the IPL, the World Cup, and the Big Bash for the Melbourne Stars.

‘He has mastered the most difficult skill of the game, the yorker. If you are consistently the best yorker bowler in the world, where is the hesitation to say the best bowler in the world? If you want to choose, Malinga will be best.

Cricket analyst Freddie Wild, referring to Malinga as the best T20 pacer, said: “His performance is unmatched, especially in Yorker. He got it naturally from his actions. There was no one more effective in the yorker than the ball from under the arm.
