Muttiah Muralitharan Admitted To Apollo Hospital in Chennai After Heart Problem
Legendary Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai on Sunday (April 17th) with heart problems. He was rushed to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai for treatment.
However, the good news is that he is now much safer. The best offspinner in history is working as a mentor for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was staying in Chennai with the team.
Shanmuganathan, chief executive of Sunrisers Hyderabad, told the media that Murali had spoken to Sri Lankan doctors about having a heart block before coming to the IPL. At the time, doctors told him there was no need for a heart stent. But now the doctors at Apollo Hospital are asking for angioplasty. So it has been done soon without wasting time. Murali is doing well now. He is also hopeful that Murali will recover quickly and return to the field.
