Naseem Shah Dropped Out of PSL 2021 For Breaking Protocols
If all goes well, the Pakistan Super League (PSL 6) will be held on June 5 again. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is making last-minute preparations for the tournament. The teams have already started training with local cricketers. However, fast bowler Naseem Shah dropped out from the PSL 2021 remaining matches which are scheduled to start from 5 June 2021.
Nasim of Quetta Gladiators was accused of disobeying protocol. This year’s PSL will be held in the United Arab Emirates. Those traveling from Pakistan to the UAE to play in the PSL have been asked to show the results of the PCR test conducted within the previous 48 hours. The negative there is that cricketers can actually get up at the hotel. But the report submitted by Nasim Shah is about a week old.
Following the incident, a three-member medical advisory panel formed for the PSL decided to remove him from the PSL. PSL chief Babar Hamid said, “The PCB is not at all proud to remove the young pacer from such an event. But if this protocol is tolerated, the whole tournament will be put at risk.
