Pakistan can surprise England in the Test Series
Former England captain Michael Vaughan believes Pakistan has the ability to surprise report to England at home in the next test series, starting on August 5.
While speaking to Cricbuzz, Vaughan said Shaheens will be a tougher challenge for the hosts than the West Indies.
“Pakistan is a wonderful team. They have the skill levels achieved with the ball in hand. Yasir Shah, Babar Azam, Azhar Ali are two high-quality right-handed hitters who know how to play in England’s conditions, ”said Vaughan.
“If Pakistan beats first and I am sure that is their plan and they get scores on the board, they will really challenge this side of England,” he added.
“I am not ignoring the West Indies at all, but Pakistan is a better test team than the West Indies.” So I am looking forward to that series. It should be a ripper. Pakistan could come here and surprise the England team if the English team plays as it did in the first Test against the West Indies in Southampton, “he said.
Vaughan concluded that he would be surprised if England’s performance were reduced to what the cricket world saw in Southampton, losing to the West Indies by four wickets.
