The Pakistan Super League (PSL) was suspended in mid-March due to coronavirus outbreak. This time the Pakistan Cricket Board wants to host the PSL 5 remaining matches that could not be completed later this year.
They said that such a decision was reached at the last board meeting on the 28th. However, the day will be fixed at the next board meeting. “Board officials have discussed holding the remaining PSL 5 matches later this year,” they said in a statement.
Apart from this, the next edition of next year’s PSL will be held in February, he said, adding, ‘It has been decided to hold the 2021 PSL in February-March. Peshawar will be the new venue next year.
Note that there were only 3 matches left in this year’s PSL. Semifinals and finals. But because of the coronavirus, they had to postpone their decision. Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi will play in the first semifinal of the tournament. The Karachi Kings and Lahore Calendars are set to face each other in the semifinals.
