PSL To Resume The Remaining Matches of PSL 6 in June 2021

After playing just 14 matches, Pakistan Super League 6 ( PSL 2021 ) was suspended midway through due to a corona. However, PSL is returning to the field, the remaining matches of PSL 6 to be played in June 2021. Karachi to host the remaining matches of PSL. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to re-host the event in June after discussions with the franchises, however, all the matches to be played in Karachi.

The PCB made the decision after a virtual meeting with the owners of the fungi on Thursday. A two-member committee has also been formed to review the biological protection zone.

As a result, Pakistan is not going to have a clash with the Indian Premier League. At the same time, the presence of star cricketers who took part in the IPL in the remaining matches of the event was also confirmed.

Earlier, all the matches of this year’s event were scheduled to be held in Karachi and Lahore, but in the new schedule, only the final and semi-finals will be held at the National Stadium in Karachi.

This year’s PSL started on February 20. After playing only 14 matches, a total of 6 coronaviruses (Covid-19) including 6 players tested positive and the ongoing 6th edition was postponed indefinitely. The PCB has confirmed in an announcement today that the postponed PSL 2021 matches will be held in Karachi next June 2021.

The PCB held emergency meetings with the PSL Governing Council and the franchisees. In consultation with them, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that the suspended league will resume in June this year. And considering the situation of the overall Covid-19, only one venue – the rest of the matches will be held in Karachi.
