Pakistan Super League (PSL) is Better Than Indian Premier League (IPL), Says Shahid Afridi
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is better than the IPL for a different reason, says Shahid Khan Afridi. At present, the IPL is at its peak of popularity. Many have called it more popular than the World Cup.
World stars like AB de Villiers retired earlier due to playing in the IPL. It has been found that cricketers from countries like Australia and England are giving more priority to the IPL than the national team series.
Afridi told Pakistani media, “I have played in franchise leagues around the world and I swear the quality of bowling in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is not comparable to the IPL or other leagues. The bowling attack in PSL you will not find anywhere else in the world, it is world-class. ”
Afridi said he had learned from talking to many that the PSL was no less in terms of quality. He added, “Many foreign cricketers I have met have expressed interest in playing in the Pakistan Super League. They have spoken well of the quality of the PSL. Many are still interested in playing in PSL. ”
In an interview with the media, Afridi also spoke about his future career. He said that as long as his fitness is good, he will continue cricket thinking about the fans. “I don’t want to disappoint my fans as long as I have continuity and fitness, ” he said.
The sixth edition of the T20 franchise tournament PSL 2021 Live Streaming is scheduled to start on February 20 in Karachi.
