Rohit Sharma is also opening a cricket academy

India’s devastating opener Rohit Sharma is set to open his own cricket academy in Dubai in September this year. The academy will be located in Dubai in a joint venture between Singapore-based company Cricket Kingdoms Global Limited and India’s Rach Sports. Which is being named ‘Cricket Kingdom Cricket Academy by Rohit Sharma’. Rohit will spend one month in the academy every year.

Rohit has invited former New Zealand cricketer and India coach John Wright to train at the academy as a guest coach. Wright also agreed. However, Wright will train at the academy for four consecutive months. Rohit will also invite the world’s best cricketers and coaches to train at his academy.

In this regard, Rohit said, ‘One of my dreams was to build an academy. That dream is being fulfilled. Hopefully, many popular coaches, players will help me.

Meanwhile, according to Indian media reports, Dhoni is going to start his own cricket academy. The cricketer will work jointly with Arka Sports Pvt. Ltd. Former South African cricketer Daryl Kalinin has been appointed as the director of the academy. Dhoni himself will be in charge of this plan.

It will also train professional young cricketers starting from 6 to 8-year-olds who have just started practicing cricket. The former Indian captain is going to join the project from July 2.

Incidentally, Dhoni had opened a cricket academy on his own before. He opened a cricket academy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. But he could not spend time there due to the busyness of his personal and cricketing life. So Dhoni’s cricket academy was closed last year.
