Ryan Harris appointed as the bowling coach of Dehli Capitals
The IPL (Indian Premier League) announced on Tuesday that former Aussie fast bowler Ryan Harris is their new bowling coach of Dehli Capitals in IPL 2020. Ryan Harris, will train Delhi bowlers in the IPL, which starts in the United Arab Emirates next month. In 2016 and 2019, James Hopes was the bowling coach of Delhi Capitals. He could not go to the UAE with the team for personal reasons.
Right-arm pacer Ryan Harris, who is 5 feet 10 inches tall, has played 26 Tests, 21 ODIs and 3 T20Is for Ajid. He took 113, 44 and 4 wickets respectively.
Ryan Harris won the IPL title in 2009 for the Deccan Chargers. Harris retired in 2015 due to injury. Harris has been coaching since then. Worked for the Australian team, Brisbane Heat. He has also worked in Kings XI Punjab in IPL.
Ricky Ponting, Mohammad Kaif, Samuel Badri and Vijay Dahiya are already in the coaching staff of Delhi Capitals. Harris is happy to be part of this coaching staff, eagerly awaiting the start of work.
