Sanjay Manjrekar praised Pakistani batsman Mohammad Rizwan
Former Indian cricketer and now a renowned commentator, Sanjay Manjrekar praised Pakistani wicket batsman Mohammad Rizwan for his courageous 60 * shot against England in the first round of the second at the Rose Bowl.
The 55-year-old took to Twitter and called Rizwan an “all-weather batsman” because of his technique.
“This Mohd Rizwan can beat! He can drive the front footwell and at the same time play traction and cut superbly. This makes him an “all-weather” drummer. No wonder his 3 best test scores so far have been achieved in Australia and England. “
Pakistan is 223-9 in 86 overs. Rizwan beats alongside Naseem Shah (1). He’s hit five limits in his 116 innings.
This Mohd Rizwan can bat!
He can drive well off the front foot & at the same time play the pull & the cut superbly. This makes him an ‘all weather’ batsman. No wonder his top 3 scores in Tests so far have come in Aus & Eng.👏👏#ENGvPAK
