Shakib Al Hasan To Play in CPL 2021
This year’s Caribbean Premier League tournament will be held from August 26. Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan to play in CPL 2021. Shakib to play for Jamaica Tallawas, Shakib has played in the team before.
Work is underway to sort out the teams in that team’s CPL, tomorrow the participating teams will announce their final squad. Before that, it has been confirmed that Shakib will play in CPL and this Tiger all-rounder has the credit of becoming the champion for Jamaica.
Shakib Al Hasan last played in the CPL in 2019, the world’s best all-rounder was banned by the ICC after returning from the tournament. Shakib has played for Seba Barbados Tridents, having previously played in the CPL in 2013, 2016, and 2017. In 2013, Shakib set a record of taking 6 wickets for 6 runs for Barbados.
Due to the Corona epidemic, this year’s event will be held at a specific venue, last time all the matches were held in Trinidad and Tobago, but this time all the matches of the tournament will be held in Warner Park, St. Kitts. A total of 33 matches will be held in this tournament of 6 teams, the final of the tournament will be on 19th September.
It will be decided tomorrow whether any other Bangladeshi cricketer will be seen in the CPL except Shakib, although there is uncertainty about the availability of Shakib in the entire tournament due to the busy schedule of the national team.
