Shoaib Malik, Hafeez, Amir, and Wahab Riaz match fee increased
The match fee of four senior Pakistan cricketers Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Amir, and Wahab Riaz have been increased. Although none of them are in Pakistan’s central agreement. These 4 stars have been informed that they will be given a match fee in the ‘A’ category from now on by increasing the match fee in the previous ‘C’ category.
A senior Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the board’s chief executive, Wasim Khan, had been told by four people at the same time that it was insulting for them not to be included in the central contract and to pay match fees in the lower category. As senior cricketers, they deserve the highest category match fee.
Earlier, Malik-Hafizs were not getting any salary allowance from the PCB as it was not included in the central agreement. And as they were in the ‘C’ category as match fee, they were getting Rs 2 lakh for each ODI match. Where they were getting less money for each T20 match.
However, as they have been promoted to the ‘A’ category, from now on they will get Rs 4 lakh 60 thousand for each ODI match. On the other hand, they will get 3 lakh 30 thousand rupees for 1 T20 match.
Of the four senior cricketers, Hafeez only plays white-ball cricket. On the other hand, Mohammad Malik is playing only in T20. Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz have not yet announced their retirement from any format, although they are not regular members of the team.
