A report in the Hindustan Times quoted the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as saying. The decision was taken at a meeting of the BCCI on Friday (April 18). The final match of the T20 World Cup will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, the largest cricket stadium in the world. But it was decided in advance. The other six venues are Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Dharamsala, and Lakshman.

A BCCI official said, “The meeting has been asked to keep 9 venues ready. In fact, it is not yet clear what the situation will be in October-November. However, preparations will continue.
