Tamim refuses to play in Sri Lankan Premier League LPL 2020
The organizing committee of the Sri Lankan Premier League is in danger of withdrawing the names of foreign cricketers just a few days before the start of the tournament. The situation has reached such a stage that the star is becoming zero in the LPL, losing color in the first edition. Tamim Iqbal who just returned to the country after playing PSL 2020 refuses to play in Sri Lankan Premier League LPL 2020 to play in the Bangabandhu T20 Cup tournament.
The LPL teams are desperate to make up for that imperfection, with Tamim Iqbal also offered to play in the series; But he turned down the offer. The Bangladesh ODI captain has said ‘no’ to LPL to play for Fortune Barisal in the Bangabandhu T20 Cup.
Andre Russell, Faf du Plessis, David Malan, and David Miller have already withdrawn from the tournament, and Chris Gayle, Liam Plunkett, and Robbie Bopara have been added to the list.
