Two South African cricketers have tested positive for Corona
Two South African male cricketers have tested positive in the Corona Test. Cricket South Africa made the announcement in a statement today (August 20).
Cricket South Africa has played a total of 50 Tests. In addition to the cricketers, there were also support staff. However, they did not reveal which two cricketers were positive.
This test is done before the team culture camp. Those two corona positives cannot be part of this camp.
Cricket South Africa said in a statement that the two cricketers could not be part of the camp. However, no alternative name has been announced for them. The statement said the two would be part of a series of events at the online camp.
Faf du Plessis could not be part of this camp, due to the arrival of his second child. Theunis de Bruyne initially missed the camp due to family reasons but later joined.
Cricket is hosting this culture camp with South African cricketers when the issue of racism has been a major topic of discussion in recent times.
