West Indies cricket team will arrive in Bangladesh on January 7, 2021

The Bangladesh cricket team has not played in any international match since the outbreak of corona. However, according to the future schedule of the International Cricket Council (ICC), the Bangladesh-West Indies series is scheduled to be held in January next year. Talks between the two boards are going on ahead of this series. And after all the discussions, the schedule of this series has been confirmed. The West Indies cricket team will arrive in Bangladesh on January 7 next year to play the full series. That is what the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said.

The Caribbeans will play Tests, ODIs, and T20s in the upcoming series. All matches of the series will be played at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur and Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.

The BCB has been in talks with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) for some time over the Caribbean tour. The highest governing body of Bangladesh cricket has already given some information to WICB.

Besides, the West Indies team will have to stay in quarantine for a week after visiting Bangladesh. However, the BCB has not yet decided whether they will be able to practice at this time.
