Women’s T20 World Cup Postponed Due to Commonwealth Games in 2022

The 2022 Women’s T20 World Cup has been postponed to 2023 due to the commonwealth games in 2020. Besides, there was no big women’s cricket event in 2023. So the decision has been taken considering all aspects. And the ICC says the decision will help advance girls’ cricket.

A press release issued by the International Cricket Council (ICC) said that the Women’s Twenty20 World Cup was scheduled to be held in South Africa in November 2022. It will be postponed to February 2023.
