Yuvraj Singh returning to cricket after Retiring playing in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 

Yuvraj Singh is returning to cricket after retiring and will be seen playing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy is starting next month. Punjab has a potential 30-man squad for the tournament. Yuvraj Singh has been kept there. After retirement, he will play T20 tournaments on foreign soil but will be seen playing on home soil again.

Yuvraj Singh, the hero of the 2011 World Cup, announced his retirement last June. However, he expressed his desire to play again. That is why the superstar also spoke privately with Punjab Cricket Association secretary Puneet Bali. He expressed his desire to return to domestic cricket in the Punjab jersey.

The 39-year-old star has played 304 ODIs, 40 Tests, and 56 T20Is in the country’s jersey. He has been practicing at the PCA Stadium in Mohali for the last few days. He also posted a video of the practice on his social media account. After retirement, Yuvraj was seen playing in Canada’s Global T20 League.

Apart from Yuvraj, Barinder Sran has been included in the Punjab squad. He was dropped from the Vijay Hazare Trophy last time and moved to Chandigarh. Like Yuvraj, Sreesanth will be seen in the domestic T20 tournament. The Kerala star cricketer will be seen playing in this first competitive tournament after his exile. Sreesanth has been included in Kerala’s 27-man squad.

The 36-year-old star pacer was deported for his involvement in the IPL spot-fixing scandal. His deportation ended last September. He will be seen playing for the Kerala team with Basil Thampi, Sanju Samson, Robin Uthappa, Jalaj Saxena, Sachin Baby. Sreesanth was a member of the squad that won the 2006 and 2011 World Cups. Before his deportation, he took part in the local T20 tournament in Kerala.

He last played in the national team jersey in 2011. The preparation camp will run from December 20 to 30. Sreesanth will join there. According to sources, the board will organize the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy from January 10. The venue of the tournament will be announced on behalf of the board.
