LPL 2022 Live Streaming And Telecast TV Channels

The third edition of the Lanka Premier League will get underway on December 6 and run until the 23rd of December 2022. The competition has some promising young players, so we should expect some thrilling cricket.  Sri Lanka will play host to the event in three different cities. Hambantota will host the first round, with Kandy and Colombo hosting the qualifications.

Sony in India, Sky Sports in the UK, Willow TV in the USA, PTV Sports and Geo Super in Pakistan, T-Sports in Sri Lanka, and GTV Live Streaming in Bangladesh are the official broadcasting partners and TV Channels to provide the live coverage of LPL 2022.

Sony, Sky Sports, Geo Super, and PTV Sports have bought the rights to broadcast the 2022 Lanka Premier League (LPL). Sri Lankan channels; Channel Eye and T-Sports have been given the responsibility of broadcasting in their country.

Sony will promote the tournament in most parts of South Asia, especially in India where the Sri Lanka Cricket Board hopes the tournament will be well received. PTV will show it in Pakistan and Sky Sports will broadcast it in the UK.

There are several players from Pakistan and England in the tournament and two former Indian players Irfan Pathan and Munaf Patel have also been included in the LPL squad. India owns at least two of the five LPL teams. The Galle Gladiators franchise is led by Pakistani owners. And Jaffna Stallion has UK-based owners.

” LPL’s broadcast partners – Sky, Sony, Geo, and PTV – will further help to reach out to the world and help the league connect with millions of fans around the world,” said tournament director Rabin Bikramasinghe.

Note that the LPL 2022 is going to start on 6 December and will continue till 23 December. All matches will be played at the Suryawewa Stadium near Hambantota. It can be seen from Bangladesh on Bangladesh’s first sports channel T-Sports.
