Lilac-scented fragrances are not common, despite appearances to the contrary. In this post, we will have a look at the best Lilac perfumes for women for the spring season.
If you adore the powerful aroma of this enigmatic flower, you could be let down because not many things can replicate the perfume of the natural world. The top ten lilac-scented perfumes for women are listed below.
Its energizing qualities are frequently mentioned. Subconsciously, the scent of lilacs is connected to the arrival of spring, which uplifts, energizes, and elevates our mood. It alters your perspective of the environment and helps you to gradually forget about the gloom of fall and winter.
Best Lilac Perfumes for Women
Although I also use the word “without” alternating with “lilac”, it is correct to say ” lilac perfume ” and not ” lilac perfume “. Essential oils are made in two ways: from flowers or leaves. Perfumes containing flower oils are considered nobler and much more beautiful.
It is also worth checking whether the composition is made of natural oils or chemical compounds. Often the scent of lilac is combined with vanilla or almonds. This not only increases its durability but also emphasizes its unique character.
1. Lanvin Eclat d’Arpege
Eclat d’Alene is the biggest hit among lilac-scented perfumes. The lilac in this composition is very young – still green. Combining it with a tea leaf made it fresh and perfect for spring and summer.
There is no point in looking for a sickening and overwhelming smell – if this is what the lilac compositions are, you can breathe.
These are linear fragrances, so the scent will change very little throughout the projection. A characteristic feature of Eclat d’Alene is a very delicate projection. However, they stay on the skin for quite a long time.
All the ingredients seem very natural, which is why it is one of the few floral perfumes that smells noble. Check out the entire review: Lanvin Eclat d’Arpege Reviews.
2. Gucci Guilty
Lilac is present only in the first hour of the projection, then disappears under the sweets. Although I don’t think this fragrance is good and I would never choose it for myself, I understand that some people find it the embodiment of luxury.
Guilty is too loud, too simple, and a bit tacky. A fragrance inspired by the nightlife of big cities – clubs, the scent of hot bodies, and brilliants on the hair.
3. Pleasures By Estee Lauder For Women
The opening of this fragrance is unbearable – sweet and sticky, with a strange tropical undertone. With time, this impression is forgotten, because Pleasures has a whole garden to offer – 10 different flowers, of which without is one of the most noticeable.
It’s worth waiting out the top notes. Later the composition becomes drier than Eclat d’Arpege. But it can make you dizzy – the floral accord is very intense.
4. Trussardi My Scent
This fragrance mixes without a heliotrope and a mysterious “floral” accord. For me, it is a lilac combined with a dried and heavily dusted bunch of herbs, most of which are chamomile.
Although this impression accompanies me throughout the projection, it is not irritating. It adds charm. The lilac itself is quite intense here – the most noticeable of the three.
5. Frederic Malle En Passant
Frederic Malle En Passant is undoubtedly one of the best fragrances with a Lilac scent. It is not a refreshing fragrance, it can be described as powdery and dry. Everything is just different.
Lilac is the dominant note here. It was combined with cucumber, water notes, wheat, and orange tree oil. It is quite a fleeting smell – noticeable in motion after 3 hours. Projection is average.
6. Chloe Love For Women
If this were my fragrance preference ranking, this perfume would come second (right after Lanvin Eclat d’Alene). This expressive, perfectly drawn powder chord makes me move to another world.
It stays on my skin for a long time and smells very sensual. For me it is one of the best fragrances from Chloe – unfortunately, the lilac itself is of secondary importance here.
7. Amouage Lilac Love
Wow! What a smell … This is one of my favorite premieres of 2016. It will go down in history because there is simply no such lilac on the market.
Not only is it very clear here, but it has also been presented in excellent company. It is accompanied by cocoa, vanilla, tonka bean, iris root … And it is not bland and stuffy here. It is powdery and extremely luxurious. It stays on the skin for about 12 hours. Only this price!
8. Guerlain Idylle Love Blossom
A completely forgotten edition of Idylle from 2014. Forgotten and underappreciated. Classic Idylle is the kingdom of flowers: lily of the valley, rose, jasmine … Lilac is only a complement to this garden.
In Love Blossom, you will find some similarities, but here the lilac has been treated royally. Accompanied by rose and honey, they create an elegant and very refined composition. Just in time for spring.
9. Guerlain Champs Elysees EdT
It’s a perfume every woman should have one day. I have a bottle behind me and I do not rule out buying another one. It is an old-fashioned fragrance when the ingredients were still carefully weighed and tried to reflect their nature. Not everyone will like this retro style immediately.
In addition to lilac, you will find mimosa, lily of the valley, almonds, peach, and vanilla … This perfume is exhilarating – it transfers you to another reality.
10. Salvador Dali Purple Light
Lilac, bamboo leaf, and cherry blossom – these are the dominant notes in Purplelight Eau de Toilette. Of all three, this one is the most energizing. Unfortunately, it was also the least durable. It stays on the skin for only 3 hours, so you will have to carry the bottle in your purse.
The lilac itself is intense here and leaves a trail behind. However, it is not a nauseating and overwhelming smell. It’s fresh like Eclat d’Alene.
I hope you have enjoyed the list of these most beautiful lilac perfumes for women and for unisex as well to wear this summer and spring. Do comment us and tell us which perfume you like the most.
